Kiln Wash
Sticking to Glass

7. It's also a good practice to fuse
at the lowest temperature that will give you the look you want.
Many kiln washes will perform wonderfully at 1450F/788C, but
stick horribly when fired above 1500F/816C. Of all the
hints on this page, this is probably the one that is the easiest
to do and that usually works the best.
Finally, if you neglected to try any of
these tips and you're stuck with a piece of glass with kiln wash
hopelessly stuck to the bottom, then check out this tip, which suggests ways to remove baked on
kiln wash.
