Preventing Kiln Wash

Sticking to Glass

7.  It's also a good practice to fuse at the lowest temperature that will give you the look you want.  Many kiln washes will perform wonderfully at 1450F/788C, but stick horribly when fired above 1500F/816C.  Of all the hints on this page, this is probably the one that is the easiest to do and that usually works the best.
