4. Note that some leaves will shrink when fired,
especially longer, thinner leaves.
5. Normally, only ash will remain from the fired leaf.
Occasionally, if the leaf is discolored or has a fungus, a color may
also be left behind.
6. If you want a more colorful appearance, soak a dried
leaf in glass paint or enamels and then fuse. It's also
possible to soak the leaf in a solution of mica and a binder and
then fire.
